Bullfrog Tadpoles |
|
|
Tadpoles are juvenile
frogs. They remain as tadpoles for approximately 2 years. By the end of the
second growing season, their tails have disappeared and legs have developed. At
this point they are considered to be frogs. Tadpoles can be stocked in a lake
or pond to aid in the development of the forage base for predatory species such
as the largemouth bass.
